How To Back Up Your #BBM Contacts Using Your Email Account or Yor Media Card!

Overview
Perform the following steps to back up and restore BlackBerry® Messenger 6.0 contacts to the Media Card or BlackBerry smartphone memory:

Backup

In the BlackBerry Messenger application, display the menu, and click Options.
In the Backup Management section, select Back Up.
Select Back up files locally. 
Select Back Up Now.
Select the location to save the back up and then click Save.
Restore

In the BlackBerry Messenger application, display the menu, and click Options.
In the Backup Management section, select Restore. 
Select Restore using a backup file from device.
Select the back up file to restore.
Click Yes.

Perform the following steps to back up and restore BlackBerry Messenger 5.0 contacts to the Media Card or BlackBerry smartphone memory:

Backup

In the BlackBerry Messenger application, display the menu, and click Options.
In the Contact List section, select Back Up. 
Select Back up files locally.
Change the Save backup files to field to Device or Media Card.
Click Back Up Now.
Restore

In the BlackBerry Messenger application, display the menu, and click Options.
In the Contact List section, select Restore.
Select Restore using a backup file from the device. 
Select the back up file to restore.
Click Yes.
